Underfloor Distributors

MERZ underfloor distributors can be sunk into the ground and are suitable for use whenever the power supply technology needs to be harmonically integrated into the architecture and is only required for temporary use. This means that sites can be supplied with electrical energy, water, compressed air, telephone services, and other facilities quickly and easily. When it is not being used, the equipment remains protected and invisible in the ground.
All distributors are designed so that they can be safely driven on as per EN 124 class D400 (point load of 40t). The electrical installations are water-tight with protection rating IP65 (67). When retracted, the underfloor distributors are protected from damage and vandalism.
Underfloor distributors are ideally suited to the following:
- Public open spaces such as pedestrianized zones, markets, fairgrounds, festival sites, and industrial/maintenance hangars
- Premises for trade fairs and events
- Sports facilities and race tracks
- Leisure facilities such as amusement parks and campsites
